Wie kann Godly Play / GOTT IM SPIEL beforscht werden? Kann es so etwas geben wie 'belastbare Evidenz' im Kontext spiritueller Bildung? Welche Fragen sollten gestellt werden und welche Ergebnisse liegen bereits vor? In diesem Buch wird eine erste Forschungsbilanz in europäischer Perspektive gewagt. In einem breiten Themenspektrum veranschaulichen Projektberichte den Zusammenhang zwischen inhaltlichen Aspekten und möglichen Forschungsstrategien sowie dabei anzuwendenden ethischen Kriterien. Leserinnen und Leser erhalten methodologische Orientierung über qualitative wie quantitative Designs mit ihren jeweiligen Verfahren der Datenerhebung und -auswertung. Das Buch enthält auch Berichte aus 18 europäischen Ländern, in denen über die religionskulturellen Einbettungen informiert und die Diversität der Entwicklungen verdeutlicht wird. Die meisten Beiträge sind in englischer Sprache verfasst, einige in deutsch. Alle enthalten Zusammenfassungen in der jeweils anderen Sprache.
