Hauptbeschreibung

In this DVD-ROM-MP3 we are introducing in more than 1.000 different recordings the sounds of almost 500 bird species, a few mammals, cicadas and soundscapes of Myanmar´s diverse habitats.
The South-East Asian country, also formerly known as Burma, is the largest in the region, stretching from the southern coast on the Tenessarim Peninsula from 9 degrees as far as 28 degrees North in the Eastern Himalayas, covering many different bird habitats, such as snowy mountains in the Eastern Himalayas, dry and tropical forests in the lowlands, mangroves and coastal mudflats as well as inland wetlands and the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River in the centre of the country.
